Arzachena: broken glass and burglarized cars in the beach parking lot

Two cars were burgled in a parking lot in Mannena, in the Municipality of Arzachena. At around 16:30 today, returning after a walk on the beach, a German family found the glass on the passenger side of their Mini Cooper smashed and covered with a plaid .
The thieves used old clothing as protection so as not to injure themselves with the shattered crystal, stole the little cash found in a purse and some personal items placed on the seats . Frightened and worried about the discomfort in view of the imminent trip to Germany, the tourists asked for help from a passerby who called the emergency number 112 for help.
A second car with an Italian license plate, parked a short distance away, underwent the same treatment . The left side window was smashed to gain access to the vehicle and steal its contents, then covered with a sweater. The vandals had just over half an hour to act and escape. The Carabinieri of the Arzachena station intervened on the spot.
