Arson? Three cars destroyed overnight in Aritzo, Bosa, and Jerzu.

It was a busy night for the firefighters. Crews from the Nuoro Fire Department responded to three car fires in Aritzo, Bosa, and Jerzu.

The most recent incident occurred in the town of Aritzo, where a Citroën C4 was engulfed in flames. The Sorgono detachment team responded to the scene, extinguishing the fire and securing the area. Shortly before, another intervention had involved a van parked on Via Giovanni XXIII in Bosa, which was completely destroyed by the flames.

The team from the Macomer detachment operated. The first fire of the night was reported in Jerzu, where an off-road vehicle caught fire.

Lanusei's intervention allowed the flames to be quickly extinguished, preventing further damage. Initial investigations have begun to reconstruct the events, with the possibility of arson being ruled out. Carabinieri officers from the respective stations are present and engaged in the investigation.
