Arson attack in Porto Torres, three cars devoured by flames

High flames and fear in the night among the residents of Via della Rinascita . In the Villaggio Verde neighborhood of Porto Torres the arsonists acted during the night, targeting a Fiat 600, parked for some time in the condominium square.

The car belongs to a body shop who lives in the building adjacent to the place where the fiery inferno broke out. It happened shortly after 2am, when the inhabitants of the neighborhood were awakened by the explosion of tires and glass shattering due to the strong heat that released from the fire. The tongues of fire, in a few moments, spread beyond, investing the cars parked nearby, two Opel Corsas owned by a fisherman.

The man went out into the street but the fire had now devastated the bodywork. Another condominium owner moved his car to prevent the fire from damaging it. All three of the burned vehicles were under administrative detention, covered with a tarpaulin and parked for months in Via della Rinascita .
