Arson attack in Nuoro: security guard's car destroyed

An arson attack took place yesterday, shortly before midnight, in via Apuelio in Nuoro . The flames, clearly of malicious origin, completely destroyed a Toyota owned by a security guard living in the city.
According to initial reconstructions, the fire started from the front of the vehicle, a sign that the fire was started intentionally . The alarm was raised immediately and the Fire Brigade teams intervened on site to put out the flames, preventing them from spreading to other vehicles or nearby buildings.
The agents of the Flying Squad of the State Police of Nuoro have started investigations to shed light on the incident and trace those responsible. No leads are excluded.
