He hid almost two quintals of marijuana in the stables of his farm , in the Ardara countryside, in the province of Sassari . A 64-year-old man was arrested by the Flying Squad for detention for the purpose of drug dealing .

The agents identified the farm at the end of a series of investigations , then the blitz with sniffer dogs .

At the sight of the agents , the man immediately admitted that he was in possession of a few kilos of marijuana he cultivated for the trade , but which remained unsold because their thc value was higher than that permitted .

The policemen then recovered bags containing 25 kilos of inflorescences, but it was the dog Viorel's nose that allowed the rest of the marijuana to be discovered , hidden in numerous spaces created in the sheds used for sheltering animals and barns.

The cannabis had been meticulously divided into heat-sealed wrappers of one kilo each for a total weight of 188.662 kilos .

The 64-year-old was arrested and will appear before the judge today for the validation hearing.
