Arborea, leg partially amputated by machinery: one worker seriously injured

Accident at work this afternoon inside company 3A, in Arborea .
A 57-year-old worker from Bergamo suffered a serious leg injury and was airlifted to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari, where he suffered a subamputation.
The worker, who works for an external Bergamo company at the Arborea plant, was busy working in a warehouse when his leg got caught in a machine.
The Carabinieri of Oristano, firefighters and the 118 ambulance intervened on the scene.
