Request for another indictment for Christian Solinas for appointments in the Region . The Cagliari prosecutor Andrea Vacca, having closed the investigation, asked to send the former governor and 21 other people to trial as part of the investigation - with two combined proceedings - linked to some appointments deemed illegitimate.
The charges, for various reasons, include attempted corruption, abuse of office and undue inducement, bid rigging and forgery . The defense lawyers requested that all cases be dismissed.
However, the decision of the preliminary hearing judge Roberto Cau was postponed to October 4, also in light of the approval of the Nordio reform, which has not yet been promulgated and could cause the charges relating to abuse of office to be dropped .
Trial was also requested for the then councilor for Industry Anita Pili , the former vice-president of the Council Alessandra Zedda , the former regional councilor of the Psd'Az Nanni Lancioni , the former head of Ats and Aspal Massimo Temussi , current general director of active policies of the Ministry of Labour, and the president of Confindustria Sardinia Maurizio De Pascale . The other suspects: Maika Aversano (former manager of Aspal Sardegna), the former general director of the presidency of the council, Silvia Curto , the sole director of Arst Roberto Neroni, Gianluca Calabrò, Emilio Fiorelli, Barbara Porru, Giancarlo Orrù, Silvia Cocco, Nicola Giuliani, Marco Santoru, Francesca Piras, Damiana Palmira Pedoni, Gianfranco Porcu, Enrico Garau and Pasquale Onida .
The first tranche of the investigation concerns the appointments of the general director of the presidency of the regional council, Silvia Curto, and the director of civil protection, Antonio Pasquale Belloi, who did not meet the required requirements . The 2020 appointments at the top of Aspal and those at the direction of the Mining Activities and Environmental Recovery Service of the Industry Department are also under the lens of PM Vacca. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the name of Temussi's successor at Aspal was conditioned starting from the formation of the examining commission which would have been piloted by Solinas and Lancioni to assign the leadership of the Sardinian Agency for active labor policies to Maika Aversano in an lawful. Another contested appointment is that of the director of the Mining Activities Service of the Department of Industry. The accusatory hypothesis is that the selection was, also in this case, initially piloted in favor of an official , Nicola Giuliani, thanks to the intermediation of some entrepreneurs in the industrial minerals sector, of the general secretary of Confindustria Marco Santoru and of president Maurizio De Pascale, who would have mentioned his name to councilor Pili. In the end the focus was on another candidate, Gianfranco Porcu (son-in-law of the former regional councilor Pasquale Onida) who was the winner. And this - according to the Prosecutor's Office - thanks to previews of the oral evidence provided by Pili herself.
