The Carabinieri of the Olbia territorial department (Investigative Unit) conducted an anti-drug operation which led to the seizure of a large quantity of hashish .

The military apparently began their operation in the town centre of Olbia with the arrest of a 27-year-old man , then moved to the outskirts of Arzachena.

The Carabinieri personnel seized a quantity of hashish between four and five kilos along with other material.

The young man was transferred to prison and will appear in the next few hours (assisted by lawyer Giuseppe Corda) before the judges of the Tempio Tribunal.

The military operation is still underway.
