A major anti-drug operation by the Carabinieri between the provinces of Cagliari and Nuoro : four people were arrested and three others were reported at large on charges of possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

The raid, conducted by the San Vito company, involved the municipalities of Muravera, Villaputzu, Sinnai, and Tertenia , with extensive searches in both residential areas and the countryside. The force involved officers from local stations, the San Vito Operations Unit, several teams from the Sardinian Hunters Helicopter Squadron, and dog units from the Cagliari Provincial Command.

The seizure resulted in a significant loss: over two kilograms of drugs, several thousand euros in cash believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing, and nine homemade pyrotechnic devices of the "paper bomb" type.

Two men, aged 31 and 39, with no criminal record and resident in Tertenia, were arrested, along with two others, aged 31 and 26, with criminal records and resident in Sinnai. Three other people were charged at large.
