Another 46 Covid beds in private hospitals in Northern Sardinia

New Covid beds in private hospitals in Northern Sardinia to cope with the growth in infections that is affecting the whole country and, albeit to a lesser extent, also the island.
The Regional Health Department has assigned 46 new posts divided between the Sassarese Polyclinic and the Mater Olbia.
The general director of the Marecello Tidore councilor, with a communication sent today to the heads of health facilities, made it known that "with regard to the implementation and strengthening of the offer of hospital services in favor of patients affected by SarsCov2 in the Northern Area, guaranteed by the Aou of Sassari and the Marino Regina Margherita Hospital in Alghero, it is considered appropriate to plan the progressive activation of the beds which, due to the growth of infections and the possible growth of hospitalizations, may be made available by the structures of private completion of the Mater Olbia and the Sassarese Polyclinic ".
The list of beds that can be activated, in detail: 12 in the medical area of the Sassarese Polyclinic, the other 34 all at Mater Olbia, of which 6 in intensive care, 8 in semi-intensive care and 20 in the medical area.
