Again: 116 cameras are fixed optics, 65 can be swiveled 360 degrees and 74 concern license plate reading.

«It is an initiative that was requested from us by the administrations with the aim of better protecting citizens and public assets throughout the territory», explains the mayor Paolo Truzzu.

The administrations were involved: «The cameras – explains the metropolitan councilor delegated for Mobility, Antonello Floris – were installed in the places identified by the Municipalities themselves».

The central control room will be in the Its control room in via Crespellani. The Metropolitan City will guarantee the maintenance of the network for the next 5 years.
