The ASL of Sassari, awaiting the arrival of a new general practitioner, is setting up a district clinic in Alghero to guarantee the continuity of prescriptions dedicated to citizens currently without healthcare assistance.

From next Tuesday 25 July, and for every Tuesday (with the exception of 15th August when the Emergency Medical Service will be active) the District of Alghero Coros, Villanova, Meilogu, given the shortage of general practitioners, and pending the start of service of a new professional (expected for 20th August), has activated in the outpatient clinics on the ground floor of via degli Orti n. 93, a district medical clinic capable of ensuring prescription continuity.

The clinic will be operational on Tuesdays, from 9.30 to 11.30 and from 15 to 17.30, and will be dedicated to citizens residing in the municipality of Alghero and who are temporarily without a general practitioner. In order to guarantee the service, the patient must present himself in the clinic with the previous health documentation.
