Alghero: steals a smartphone, money and glasses from unsuspecting swimmers in the same morning

The carabinieri of Alghero arrested a 28-year-old , responsible for a series of thefts committed in a few hours on the beach of Maria Pia .

The military, on the recommendation of some swimmers, intervened on the seafront , quickly identifying the person described in the reports.

The young man, at the sight of the military, attempted a hasty escape in the internal streets on a (stolen) bike . A race interrupted a few moments later by the military who immediately proceeded to its identification and subsequent control .

When he was searched, he was found in possession of a smartphone, cash and other items (including an expensive pair of sunglasses), some kept in a backpack, including the stolen one.
