Change in command at the Alghero Air Force airport, where this morning the suggestive handover ceremony took place between Lieutenant Colonel Domenico Cecco and the successor, Lieutenant Colonel Francesco Demontis .

The alternation ceremony was held in the presence of the commander of Decimomannu's experimental and standardization department for aerial shooting, colonel navigator Federico Pellegrini , with the participation of the military, civil and religious authorities.

The deployment was made up of the staff of the Alghero Airport Detachment, the Municipality Banner and the Labari of the Combatant and Weapon Associations.

Cecco relinquished his post after three years of command to be transferred to the Decimomannu air base, while Demontis assumes command after having previously held the position of head of the logistics department of the same air base. The Alghero Airport Detachment, which depends on the logistic command, ensures logistical support to the passing aircraft of the AM and other Italian and international armed forces to which it provides social protection activities. He carries out survival at sea courses aimed at regular courses at the Aeronautical Academy and familiarization with survival at sea for those attending the Giulio Douhet military school.
