Alarm in the Nuoro area: a warehouse containing hundreds of round bales of hay is on fire.

Alarm was raised overnight in the industrial area between Bolotana and Ottana due to a fire that broke out inside a warehouse.
Inside the structure, previously owned by Legler and now disused, there were approximately 180 round bales of hay stored.
Three teams from the Nuoro Fire Brigade arrived on site around 1am.
The 115 emergency services first contained the fire from the outside, in order to gain access to the inside of the warehouse: a complex and dangerous operation given the extremely high temperatures.
A total of 15 operators were in action, with two water tankers and a support ladder truck.
It is not yet possible to determine the causes that triggered the fire and initial estimates suggest that the cleanup and safety operations will take a long time.
