Aidumajore in festa” is an absolutely positive result, attracting many guests and visitors to the small town of Guilcier.

The houses and the "cortes" were opened , all the inhabitants, each with a different role, demonstrated their belonging including the children who were able to learn the concepts of the past in the workshops created for the occasion. Twenty "Cortes" set up for the occasion, with the Museum of the territory, the church of San Gavino, the well of Cortesusu, on palazzu de sa Dama and the Montegranatico .

Satisfied organizers led by the president of the Pro loco Valeria Masia , who together with her collaborators is already working on next year's edition which aims to present even more beautiful and complete. “Aware of the precious resources present in our small town - explains the president - we have enriched the event by involving all the associations, local producers, hobbyists and artisans. The participation of some private individuals who opened their homes was also very welcome, giving visitors the opportunity to admire places that have remained as they were in the past ".

The homage to fellow countryman Salvatore Marras is significant with a pictorial exhibition, exposing some of his most representative paintings.

Visitors walked the streets of the town reaching all the points of greatest interest, accompanied by traditional songs and dances. “Our efforts have been well rewarded by a good participation by both the country and visitors - concludes the president Masia - and we are thinking of the 2023 edition to give greater prominence and visibility to the treasures present in our territory. We hope it will be a good starting point for growing and enhancing our country ”.

Aidomaggiore is now preparing for Christmas: on December 17th the Youth Council organizes the “Christmas markets”.
