Accused of attempted robbery for a cigarette, he does not take advantage of the alternative sentence: in prison for one year and eight months

He had threatened a passerby to take away a cigarette, in the Stampace neighborhood of Cagliari. For this, and also by virtue of a series of precedents, a heavy prison sentence was issued to a fifty-one-year-old domiciled in Assemini, but resident in the capital, on charges of attempted robbery.

During the criminal proceedings, he had been given the opportunity to request an alternative measure to detention, but the interested party failed to initiate the necessary procedures.

Consequently, the Prosecutor's Office ordered the reinstatement of the execution order, which materialized with the arrest carried out this morning by the Carabinieri of Assemini: he is now in Uta and will serve the remaining sentence of one year and eight months.
