A small boat carrying six migrants lands among swimmers in Chia.

Six migrants landed this afternoon among the swimmers on Sa Colonia beach in Chia, in the Domus de Maria area.

Carabinieri from the local station and local police officers provided initial assistance: the North Africans, all in good health, are being transferred to the first reception center in Monastir.

The Guardia di Finanza seized the boat and authorized its removal and safekeeping. The Municipality's Civil Protection Service, through the Amico Mare association , removed the boat, complete with its engine. It will be temporarily kept under the City's authority.
