Due to construction work on the light rail line, starting tomorrow, October 13th, traffic will change between Via Riva di Ponente, Viale La Playa, and Via Sassari in Cagliari: a roundabout will be added.

The change will bring some changes for motorists. The traffic lights that previously controlled the intersection will be turned off, and priority will be given to vehicles already traveling within the ring road, with those entering the ring road being required to yield right-of-way and proceed counterclockwise. Furthermore, to ensure maximum safety throughout the construction site, a speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour has been implemented.

"Maximum attention has also been paid to sustainable mobility," the Municipality states. "Pedestrian paths and the safe transit of pedestrians will always be protected and kept accessible."

The installation of new road signs and the works aimed at modifying traffic flow will begin during the night, between 10 pm and 6 am.
