A long applause and the roar of the engines: in Cagliari the emotional farewell to Davide Manca
At the San Michele cemetery, the last farewell for the forty-one-year-old overwhelmed by the fury of the waterThe off-road vehicles parked in the square, the roar of the engines as the hearse passes by, the desperate crying of a mother who can't stand up and of a father who tries to find strength for both of them. And then a deafening and out of tune silence, which shouts more than a thousand words that reverberate inside the hall of the cemetery of San Michele.
Today is the day of farewell to Davide Manca, the forty-one year old swept away by the fury of the torrent swollen by the rains of last Saturday and found on Friday , after many searches and just as many unanswered prayers.
The last journey among hundreds of friends, acquaintances, relatives and those who until the very end hoped for a different ending.
