The drug dealer was stopped by local police during a patrol in the historic center.

850 grams of marijuana. A non-EU citizen had hidden it last night in Sassari, arrested by local police during a high-impact operation. Officers approached to check on him, and the man fled through the streets of the historic center, throwing away a bag containing the drugs, which was quickly recovered by law enforcement.
The suspect was apprehended shortly thereafter, near Corso Vittorio Emanuele, clutching a fanny pack containing approximately €3,200. This morning, the suspect, who does not reside in the city, was brought to court in Sassari by officers from the Via Carlo Felice station. He was tried under a summary procedure, represented by lawyer Umberto Carboni. Judge Valentina Nuvoli confirmed the arrest and ordered him to remain in Nuoro.
