A 62-year-old cyclist , originally from the Bergamo area, was injured in an accident while riding his bike.

He was walking on the SP 49 highway near Capo Marrargiu when he suddenly fell. The impact was so violent that the 62-year-old hit his face on the ground.

Immediately rescued, the ambulance volunteers requested the intervention of the air ambulance and the man was transferred to the hospital in Nuoro.

The Carabinieri of Bosa were on site.
