An 11-month-old Sardinian baby in danger of life was rushed from the San Francesco di Nuoro hospital to the Gaslini hospital in Genoa .
A Falcon 50 of the 31st Wing of the Air Force intervened for the medical transport. In the afternoon the vehicle took off from Ciampino airport towards Olbia, where it embarked the little patient together with the medical team and his mother .
Emergency transport was requested by the Prefecture of Nuoro as the little one needs specific life-saving treatment at the Ligurian children's hospital.
