Around seventy of the island's agri-food companies were recognized at the closing of the eleventh edition of the Sardinia Food Awards . The ceremony took place at the Is Molas Golf Club. The project is dedicated to promoting, enhancing, and creating development opportunities for Sardinia's agri-food businesses. The regional councilor for Agriculture, Francesco Agus , also attended the awards ceremony.

As stated in a press release, the Sardinia Food Awards "is not a technical product competition and does not create rankings. The project observes and promotes the companies' journey, the people who lead them, their family histories, their relationships with local communities, and their ability to generate development through products authentically linked to Sardinia. The new phase of the project is geared toward building a true Sardinian agri-food community: a network of businesses that share values and goals, develop collaborations, and find in the Awards a permanent forum for discussion, communication, and the creation of opportunities."

The winning companies were awarded the "Bollino Sardinia Food Awards," recognized by consumers as a distinctive sign of the company's identity and journey. Starting in the 2026 edition, the Bollino will also be available in English, as will the official certificate, to support the companies' communications and accompany their presentation on international markets.

Crai, through the Crai Cuore dell'Isola brand, is the Title Sponsor of the Sardinia Food Awards 2026. Stochino Carni – STC Food, Cooperativa Produttori Arborea, Cantina Santadi, 3A Arborea, and Acqua Federica are actively participating in the project. "Recognition is the starting point, not the end point," emphasizes Donato Ala, the organizer and creator of the Sardinia Food Awards . "The results achieved, from the growth of businesses to the ability to engage millions of people, demonstrate that a meritocratic, transparent, and authentic platform can generate real value."
