100% capacity of the Ariston theater with spectators equipped with super green pass and Ffp2 mask, but no buffer. It is the main decision taken by the Committee for public order and safety that was held in Imperia to establish the anti Covid rules to be enforced during the Italian Song Festival scheduled in Sanremo from 1 to 5 February.

For the occasion in the harbor, in front of the city, there will also be the cruise ship "Costa Toscana" which will be the location for a TV studio where Orietta Berti and Fabio Rovazzi should host artists called to interpret hits from the 60s to the 90s, which will also hold the spot during the cover night. There will also be the red carpet and the red zone near the Ariston.

"The health protocols have been clarified, there has been the utmost collaboration on the part of everyone. The ship will not be a hotel, it will not be catering, but it will be a television studio and in my opinion it will also be good for the promotion of the territory", says the mayor Alberto Biancheri. "With vaccines and respecting the rules - continues Biancheri - you can have an event like the Festival, with the capacity of the theater at 100%. The spectators will enter with the super green pass, on the red carpet there will be all the checkpoints and safety". And the prefect Armando Nanei explains: "The insiders will enter the red carpet and then enter the Ariston with super green pass and Ffp2 mask". In these days they are subjected to swabs and it will be like this until the Festival and during the review.

"Green certification will suffice for viewers, but no buffer," says Nanei. "We will do everything to avoid crowds, to enter and exit the theater there will be dedicated routes". And the mayor adds: "At the studio there is also the hypothesis of an entrance for those who will go to the stalls and one for those who have a seat in the gallery precisely to avoid gatherings and speed up checks. We are in a completely different context than last year, we are working to derive the maximum possible benefit from this Festival. The data coming from the accommodation facilities are rewarding the work done and bodes well ".
