Last minute tile for Cagliari, who will have to give up Nandez for tomorrow afternoon's match at the Domus (kick-off at 3pm) against Empoli. The Uruguayan had suffered some discomfort during the last training session yesterday morning. Today's tests revealed a low-grade lesion to the gracilis of the left thigh. A problem that will leave El Leon in the pits, forcing him to miss tomorrow's match, the Italian Cup match against Milan and, barring a last-minute recovery, the away match in Lecce.
For the rest, Ranieri has called up 24 players. In addition to Nandez, the suspended Makoumbou and the injured Capradossi, Shomurodov and, naturally, Rog remain at home.
