Marko Rog's new long recovery journey begins today.

The Croatian midfielder from Cagliari was in fact operated on in the evening at Villa Stuart in Rome by Professor Mariani for the reconstruction of the cruciate ligament in his left knee. Rog, who had already suffered a broken right cruciate twice since 2020, was injured during the friendly match in Val d'Aosta against Roma's Primavera side.

After the surgery, the long recovery process will begin, which will last at least 6-7 months.
