Alghero is preparing to host one of the highlights of summer 2026. From July 17 to 19, the Lido di San Giovanni will host Beach Like a Deejay, Radio Deejay's summer tour, bringing three free days of music, sports, entertainment, and performances to the Riviera del Corallo. Organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Alghero and the Alghero Foundation, the event is part of the Alghero Experience program and represents one of the summer season's key promotional showcases, with thousands of visitors expected and significant national media exposure. The station's presence will begin on Monday, July 13.
Until Friday the 17th, "Deejay Chiama Italia" will be broadcast live from Alghero with Linus, Nicola Savino, and Matteo Curti, offering the city a week of radio broadcasts, web content, and social media aimed at reaching millions of listeners. The heart of the event will be the weekend. On Friday, July 17th, starting at 9:00 PM, Radio m2o will take over the stage with an evening of DJ sets and electronic music. On Saturday, July 18th, also starting at 9:00 PM, Radio Deejay will take center stage, featuring the station's speakers and artists to be announced in the coming weeks. During the day, the Lido di San Giovanni will transform into a large village dedicated to sport and wellness. On Saturday and Sunday, starting at 7:30 AM, you can participate in free fitness sessions, muscle toning, mobility, bodyweight training, aquafan, and power training. There will be tournaments and activities in beach volleyball, beach tennis, bocce, ping pong, foosball, and aquatic sports such as electric SUP, aqua scooters, and water boards. Radio Deejay speakers will also liven up the village with games, entertainment, and musical aperitifs. The event will conclude on Sunday at sunset with a final DJ set by Radio Deejay. "Beach Like a Deejay is much more than a major entertainment event. For Alghero, it means entering the homes of millions of Italians for weeks on end through one of the most popular radio networks in the country," emphasizes Graziano Porcu, president of the Alghero Foundation, "with extraordinary visibility that contributes to strengthening our destination's positioning on the national tourism market. The presence of Radio Deejay and its protagonists confirms Alghero's ability to attract high-profile events and is part of the promotional strategy implemented together with the municipal administration." To participate in the fitness activities, free registration is required at the Deejay Info Point set up in the event village. All registrants will receive a special free Deejay Bag.
