A look at new contemporary music productions from the local area and beyond, on its return this summer: the second edition of " Digressioni ", curated by Alessandro Milia and supported by Spaziomusica , will be inaugurated on Thursday 9 July at the Ghetto in Cagliari , on stage from 7 pm with " Le réveil profond ".
The concert features Gian Marco Medda on drums and percussion and Emiliano Amadori on double bass, in a meeting dedicated to exploring the sounds generated by the blending of the two instruments . The setlist explores previously unreleased compositions and pieces from the contemporary repertoire, with music—several of which was conceived specifically for the occasion—composed by Enno Poppe , Giacinto Scelsi , Stefano Scodanibbio , and Michele Sanna , as well as artistic director Milia.
This event will also feature a dialogue between the public and the musicians , with a brief informal conversation about the instruments and sound languages characteristic of the project, scheduled for half an hour before the performance. This is the first date with free admission , with the details of the winter event still to be revealed.
