Now the time has come to trace the final balance of the activities carried out. “We have carried out a social solidarity project started at a time when it was not yet clear how the pandemic would develop. After having crossed a stormy sea we have now reached the goal ”. So Maria Antonietta Mongiu, coordinator of the network created in the summer of 2020 to fight the virus.

On the goal reached and on the route followed by a large and determined team, which also included many mayors, the point is made during the meeting scheduled for Monday 20 September in Cagliari proposed in streaming, starting at 16, on the website Unionesarda.it and on the Facebook page of the newspaper. The project had as its epicenter, in the initial phase, the former military hospital of Cagliari. “Ad Adiuvandum” supported public health with valuable preventive interventions implemented with the contribution of numerous volunteers. Many energies in motion: from the Army to the Municipalities to the world of schools and universities to sports clubs to CGIL retirees up to doctors, nurses and biomedical laboratory technicians. With "Ad Adiuvandum, together for all" 20 thousand molecular tests and 15 thousand swabs were carried out and 10 thousand doses of vaccine were administered.
