Backpacks in hand and maps in hand, countless visitors are currently flocking to the 25 historical and non-historical sites open in Quartu for the "Monumenti Aperti" (Open Monuments) event. Among the most popular, as always, are the Nuraghe Diana di Is Mortorius, but also the little church of Sant'Efisio, Santa Maria di Cepola, the former slaughterhouse, and the Steria nursery school, which traces a hundred years of history. The guides were talented school students. Among the youngest, the children from the primary school on Via Dei Nasturzi in Flumini, who accompanied the visitors with their brilliant explanations. At the former slaughterhouse on Via Dante, students from the Levi Technical Institute were present. Among them, Giada Pau, who said, "It's a wonderful experience that I've been repeating for five years now. It's a way to learn about the city's history and also interact with tourists."

New additions include a micro-theater with just 40 seats run by the Origamundi and Ilos associations, and the Brotzu high school, which opened its doors to celebrate its 50th anniversary. At the Antico Macello, now the municipal library, students from the Levi Technical Institute will be attending. Tomorrow, there will be another guided tour from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Starting at 8:45 am in Molentargius, entrance on Via Don Giordi, there will be a bike ride organized by the Seguimi asd association. Sunday will be a musical experience with the Namm music school at the former barracks and the civic music school at the former convent, both at 6:00 pm, and with the Musica Viva Cagliari association, which will perform in the church of Sant'Agata at 8:00 pm. At the Spazio Michelangelo Pira, illustrators Fabio Sanna, Evelin Arte, Luca Palmas, Minerva Uzzau, and Francesca Serra will give live demonstrations, while the duo Contos Pintaus will guide the audience through tales of Sardinian folklore and ancient medieval natural pigments.

And today it happens again.
