The safety works on the Quartu stretch of Viale Marconi, from Via de Gasperi to Carrefour, starting, as confirmed by the Metropolitan City, after Epiphany, do not neglect pedestrians for whom a whole series of measures have been designed to ensure that they can walk along the road without running risks and to prevent the road from continuing to be the scene of accidents. The last one a few weeks ago when 27-year-old Gianluca Dessì – still in a coma at the Businco hospital – was mowed down by a car while crossing the road in front of the Md market.

Before the construction sites open, all changes to the road system and alternative routes will have to be agreed with the local police, but these will certainly be exciting days for motorists.
