Salmo , the rapper from Olbia will be among the protagonists in these days in Sanremo , the most awaited guest of the Cagliari Summer Festival , an event that will enliven the summer of the capital starting from next July 1st.

A season of concerts by the sea is scheduled: in fact, the Cagliari Beach Arena on the Poetto seafront , in the Hippodrome area, hosts the shows.

«We are preparing for another great event. Cagliari knows how to do it », said the mayor Paolo Truzzu . And the hunt for tickets has already started, available from tomorrow .

Exceptional numbers for Salmo, who returns to the Sardinian capital six years after the last concert : 2.5 billion total streams, 70 platinum records and as many gold records. In 2022 the performance at the San Siro stadium in front of 50 thousand people.

The rapper has recently returned to the track with two other great works: the sixth album "Flop" (October 2021), triple platinum with over 250 million streams, and "Block 181 - Original Soundtrack" (May 2022, disc of gold), soundtrack of the Sky Original TV series "Block 181", of which he oversaw the artistic direction as well as being the creative producer and actor. Furthermore, in recent years, Salmo has scored numerous collaborations that have become successful hits, including some tracks contained in the "Machete Mixtape 4" (2019, 3rd platinum and over 500 million total streams), "La Canzone Nostra" feat . The Cagliari Summer Festival, organized by Magma Events, is a project that aims to organize, for the next three years, a series of concerts and shows of various musical genres scheduled in the capital during the summer months.

Most of the events (the line-up is being defined) will take place at the Cagliari Beach Arena , a new outdoor event area located a stone's throw from the Poetto beach, right next to the Hippodrome.
