The Rete Porti Sardegna association was created to bring together the tourist ports of the island, and the constituent assembly elected Franco Cuccureddu, former mayor of Castelsardo, as president.

14 structures that are part of it as founding members and five are owned by public entities , are the Municipalities of: Santa Teresa Gallura, La Maddalena, Posada, Baunei, Bosa, and nine to private companies, including the Molinas Group, Turismar , Sea Company, Motomar and others.

The participating ports are Santa Teresa Gallura, Cala Gavetta (La Maddalena), Cala Bitta (Arzachena), Marina di Porto Rotondo, Marana (Golfo Aranci), La Caletta (Posada / Siniscola), Santa Maria Navarrese, Arbatax, Porto Corallo (Villaputzu ), Marina Piccola (Cagliari), Portus Karalis (Cagliari), river port of Bosa, and the emerald buoy fields of Cala di Volpe and Grande Pevero are added to the port structures.

Cuccureddu will be joined by deputy Matteo Molinas, a young exponent of the Molinas group, which manages the tourist ports of Porto Rotondo, Marana, Cala Bitta and Portus Karalis. Instead, the mayors of La Maddalena, Posada, Bosa have been called to be part of the board of directors; the deputy mayor of Santa Teresa Gallura; the lawyer Sebastiano Tronci; the entrepreneurs Franco Ammendola and Gianni Onorato.
