The confirmation of the company at Mise, the Energy Release is not enough. The Region: "Guaranteeing workers in the transition period"
The Energy Release is not enough to avoid the stop of the lead line : Portovesme srl confirmed its decision during the meeting at Mise, which ended in the evening.
The trade unions have rejected the idea of stopping, saying they are not willing to sign a layoff without guarantees for workers in the transition period.
There will be 200 workers involved between Portovesme and San Gavino, which will be added to the 400 who have been rotating the cig since January.
Even the Region, present in Rome with the councilors Zedda, Lampis and Pili, asked the company not to stop production, guaranteeing the protection of workers during the transition period .
Tomorrow morning an information notice is expected at the gates , then during a trade union coordination any mobilization initiatives will be decided.
