The Éntula literary festival, organized by Lìberos, continues in Porto Torres with a meeting dedicated to economic dissemination . On Friday, July 3, at 7:30 p.m., the Atrio Comita of the Basilica of San Gavino (in Piazza Martiri Turritani) will host journalist Mariangela Pira , who will present " 24 Words to Understand Economics " (Chiarelettere), an essay intended as a tool for navigating the mechanisms of finance and economic geopolitics, subjects often perceived as distant or complex.
Starting from the analysis of major global crises, the book offers readers the concepts needed to interpret daily economic news and make more informed choices. Gianluigi Tiddia will be in conversation with the author.
The event, also included in the Salude & Trigu programme, is organised with the support of the Municipality of Porto Torres, the Chamber of Commerce of Sassari, and in collaboration with the Liberevento festival, the Koinè Ubik bookshop of Porto Torres and the Massaiu Dental Centres.
Mariangela Pira is a professional journalist, host, and reporter for Sky TG24, where she curates financial columns and economic in-depth features. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with Class CNBC, Gruppo Sole 24 Ore, and ANSA, serving as a correspondent from New York and producing reports on economic dynamics in China. She is the author of numerous essays and podcasts. The Éntula festival is organized by the Liberos cultural association with the support of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia – Department of Public Education, Cultural Heritage, Information, Entertainment, and Sport, and the Fondazione di Sardegna.
