The tormented history of the Psd'Az continues inexorably and continues to lose pieces . Only the hard core of the loyalists remains.

In the Municipality of Porto Torres, the councilor Costantino Ligas with the Sardinian group leader Bastianino Spanu are preparing to resign from the Sardinian Action Party, leaving the municipal council without any political representation of the Quattro Mori.

The announcement will be made at tomorrow afternoon's meeting, Thursday 27 June, the date on which the board was convened to approve the management report for the 2023 financial year.

A farewell announced for some time, following the latest moves of the national leadership of the Psd'Az , during the regional election campaign.

A first suspension from the party was communicated by Spanu himself together with the city secretary Adriano Solinas. The latter resigned after a few months in a polemical tone towards the Sardinian leaders. Party management with friends who become enemies and dormant resentments that the latest performances have rekindled.

The minority in the Municipality of Porto Torres will be further reduced, after Sebastiano Sassu's escape from the M5s and his joining the civic Orizzonte Comune .

Instead, the centre-left majority is growing, which is being approached by Spanu himself who is preparing to join the coalition, abandoning his experience in the large centre-right family, freeing himself above all from the arms of Salvini's party.

Three councilors remain seated on the opposition benches: Ivan Cermelli (Lega), Michele Bassu (Gruppo Misto) and Icon Bruzzi “Sardinia al Centro”.
