Poetry Slam Sardinia: Enzo Liborio Vacca is the champion

Gavoi hosted the 12th Final of the Poetry Slam Sardinia . The outdoor stage was set up at the Hotel Sa Valasa, overlooking the breathtaking view of Lake Gusana. The final was organized by the Coordination of Poetry Slam Sardinia as the conclusion of a varied, exciting, and competitive championship in which many new voices in Sardinian performance poetry participated. Over 200 spectators were present to listen to, support, and evaluate the 14 competing poets.
The winner of the twelfth Bronzetto d'Oro for Sardinian performance poetry and designated to represent Sardinia at the Italian Finals of the LIPS (Italian Poetry Slam League) to be held in Trento on September 25th and 26th, was Enzo Liborio Vacca from Ovoda, who defeated Roberto Demontis from Sassari after a fierce battle of verses.
The effervescent Valentina Loche will lead and enliven the event in the role of MC (mistress of ceremonies), with the contribution of veteran Giovanni Salis as competition notary and drummer Alberto Ferreri for the musical interludes.
The final was further enriched by the presence of special guests Su Cuncordu Gavoesu for a tribute to the reality of the canto a tenore as the main recognised vehicle of Sardinian poetry and the Stirner Brigade ( Roberto Belli and Arnaldo Pontis ) for the “sacrifice” (the initial opening poems which serve to test the popular jury).
The other finalists in the competition were: Elena Malfi, Frantziscu Cambiganu, Hjarta, Isa Gramai, Letizia Mulas, Luca Sedda, Maria Daniela Carta, Moreno Murgia, Roberto Nieddu, Sandra Paddeu, Steve Kieninger, TYFYA
The Critics' Prize was awarded to Moreno Murgia from Dolianova.
