Pelé was again admitted to intensive care at the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo.

The conditions of the football legend remain stable, but the transfer was decided as a precaution for a more careful monitoring of his state of health.

The former Brazilian champion, now 80, had a reflux problem last night, after having been operated on in the colon in recent days.

The publication of a new medical bulletin is not expected soon.

Pele had left intensive care last Tuesday to continue his recovery process after the operation he had undergone. His condition had improved so much that the former star had even published a post on his social channels, saying he was willing "to play 90 minutes, more recovery".

"We will be together soon," wrote Pele, who was diagnosed with colon cancer during routine exams on August 31st.

On September 4, the tumor was removed and the result of the histological examination was not widespread.
