Thus the mayor of Nuoro, Andrea Soddu, addressed the city council which after five hours of discussion has yet to vote on the budget.

Without it, his administration has finished its run and the commissioner will arrive in the city. The deadline imposed by the Region for approval expires at midnight.

Soddu talks for over half an hour about the consequences of a vote against: «You are not providing the city with a fundamental tool to bring me down, you could have made a motion of no confidence but you didn't do it, perhaps I was a bit annoying in the having done many things, but these are things that citizens need to know", he said before starting the long list of all the works done by his administration.
