Nuoro, new councilor: Picconi arrives for tourism
Bank official and city councilor, 46 years old, was elected in 2020 from the list Andrea Soddu Mayor
The mayor of Nuoro Andrea Soddu has appointed the new Councilor for Culture and Tourism.
It is Salvatore Picconi, 46 years old, from Nuoro, bank official and city councilor elected in 2020 from the Andrea Soddu Mayor list.
The role had been discovered since November 2022 and taken on ad interim by Soddu , when the then councilor Luigi Crisponi in office since 2020 had resigned for "personal reasons".
«I thank the new councilor Salvatore Picconi for having accepted the assignment - Soddu declares - I am sure he will carry it forward with the utmost dedication and seriousness, placing himself at the disposal of the administration and of the Nuoro community. In the last few years spent among the benches of the City Council, he has gained the necessary experience to best carry out the commitment that awaits him , in the name of enhancing and promoting our culture and tradition».
