Whether it's Wimbledon or Roland Garros or any other tennis tournament, Novak Djokovic said he was ready to give up if as a condition to participate he was required to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The Serbian champion revealed it during an exclusive interview with the BBC: “It's a price I'm willing to pay”.

Last month he entered Australia to take part in the Open, not being vaccinated he violated the rules of the government which accepts only immunized foreigners. Confined to a facility for irregular immigrants, he was eventually deported.

"I fully support the freedom to decide whether to be vaccinated or not," he said again, underlining however that he is not against it on principle and therefore does not want to be associated with the no vax movement.
