“The mysterious disappearance of W” by Stefano Benni with Ambra Angiolini in the archaeological area of Nora has been postponed to Saturday 11 July (8.30pm).
The event that was supposed to inaugurate the 44th edition of the La notte dei poeta festival, organized by CeDAC Sardegna, has been postponed two days from its original date, so that the season will open in Nora on July 10th with Elena Arvigo, the protagonist, starting at 8 pm, of "Anna della pioggia," the show based on the posthumous collection of short stories by Michela Murgia.
"The Mysterious Disappearance of W" will debut in Sardinia on July 10 (9:30 PM) at Lo Quarter in Alghero, the first event in CeDAC's Alghero Estate 2026 program. Starring Ambra Angiolini, who also directs, the show tells, with the Emilian writer's ironic and surreal style, the story of a woman who suddenly becomes aware of herself and her desires, and begins a journey of personal growth in search of her own identity.
An intriguing and surprising portrait of women, this engaging show is described by the actress, singer, and radio and television host, making her debut as a theater director, as a "group soliloquy" where the contradictions of existence emerge, from the small and large tragedies of everyday life to comical and paradoxical situations, between reality and dreams, and a reflection on the role of women in society.
Tickets already purchased for the July 9th performance will remain valid for the new date of the 11th, but those wishing to request a refund can do so by July 25th by sending an email to biglietteria@cedacsardegna.it.
