A visit in memory of his older brother Drew Gordon, who died last year in a car accident. Aaron Gordon, winner of the 2023 NBA title with the Denver Nuggets, stopped in Sassari this morning with his family, naturally guests of Dinamo, where Drew played for two seasons: in 2012-13 and 2013-14, when he was among the protagonists of the white-and-blue club's historic first trophy: the Coppa Italia.

Thirty-year-old Aaron Gordon, five years younger than his brother, showed up in civilian clothes but immediately put on the white and blue Dinamo shirt with the number 11 (Drew's number) that the club, led by president Stefano Sardara, gave him.

Aaron Gordon was welcomed at the end of the first-team training session not only by the coaching staff and players, but also by the management. It was a welcome that touched Drew's wife, Angela, who wanted to return to the city where her husband enjoyed two of the best seasons of his career.
