"I love Sardinia and its extraordinary landscapes, of land and sea, which cannot be ruined by the new speculations regarding energy. I fully support the mobilization of the Sardinians against the mega wind and photovoltaic plants". Mita Medici, on stage at the Adriano theater in Cagliari together with the musician Gavino Murgia, for the “Puntodivista film festival”, reiterates the special bond with the land where she made her film debut (on the set of the film "L'estate" by Paolo Spinola, with Enrico Maria Salerno).
"I have so many beautiful memories that I have renewed in these hours with a tonic off-season bath in Mari Pintau", said the artist interviewed by Simona De Francisci in the program La Strambata on Radiolina. Mita Medici also revealed that, again with Gavino Murgia, she wants to create a theater project dedicated to Grazia Deledda and write a book to put in sequence the most important moments of her life that continues to reserve her many artistic gratifications.
Medici also remembered Gigi Riva: "I met him after Cagliari won the championship. I was in Sardinia to present a Rai show. In front of me, in the audience, that legendary team". "Riva and Mita, love at first sight", was the headline in the newspapers of the time". Today, responding to Simona De Francisci, she admitted: "There was love at first sight, but it was always kept within the confines of great discretion".
