Jannik Sinner beat Frenchman Corentin Moutet 6-1 6-4 to reach the round of 16 of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Miami, where he will face American Alex Michelsen.

In the doubles, Andrea Vavassori and Simone Bolelli advance, reaching the quarterfinals after beating the pair formed by the Argentine Tomás Martín Etcheverry and the Chilean Alejandro Tabilo 6-3 7-6(7/5).
