Maracalagonis , after the feast of San Basilio, prepares the bread and tomato festival : it will take place over two days from Saturday to Sunday with a whole series of events ranging from the exhibition of the typical tomato of Maracalagonis, to other typical local products , crafts, and then entertainment evenings.

A festival that has been repeated for some time and that has always been a great success: it organizes the Pro loco. With local products, in the two days, the ceramics, paintings and basketry will be exhibited.

Demonstration of the construction of traditional instruments (solittu'e canna, launeddas) with equipped laboratory is foreseen.

The Museum "Precious Scrigno le tre P" will open in via Sassari n.15, (from 10 to 13; from 15 to 22), the exhibition of traditional costumes of Maracalagonis, organized by the association "Sant'Antonio "(via dei mille).

The demonstration of traditional embroideries , in particular of the Marese apron, is also on the program. The traditional costumes of the Pro Loco can be admired. And, then, the tasting, lunch, the gathering of vintage motorcycles and other initiatives.
