Full speed ahead on healthcare. This is the message brought today by the President of the Region Alessandra Todde to the majority summit with the assessor Armando Bartolazzi, the group leaders and the sixth commission, convened to illustrate the maxi amendment that should allow the appointment of a commissioner to all the general directors of the ASL.

We start from the bill approved in August that already included the merger of Microcitemico al Brotzu and the hospital of Alghero to the ASL of Sassari. Immediately after the Epiphany it will arrive in the sixth commission, as well as the amendment of the Council that provides for the establishment of departments transversal to the Health Companies, but also the Children's Hospital based at Arnas Brotzu.

Healthcare comes first in the Finance Act, then. "Of course we don't want to leave the Region in provisional operation forever," Todde explained after the summit, "but at this moment, seeing the data that shows us first in Italy for the number of people who give up treatment, I think that the Sardinians need answers on the healthcare issue."

Furthermore, "the issue of health will be a push to close as soon as possible and bring the Budget immediately after. A call to responsibility towards all regional councilors".
