Rosario Fiorello's villa in Rome was burgled: thieves stole jewelry, watches, and other valuables worth more than €300,000.

Apparently, no one was home: the showman's family, as reported by Il Messaggero, was out of Rome. The maid who had the keys to the house apparently noticed the theft and, finding the house in disarray, called first the police and then the owners.

According to the police investigating the case, an experienced gang was at work. Having entered the villa through a French window, once the alarm was deactivated, the thieves apparently used latex gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints.

No traces emerged from the findings of the forensic police, who carried out an inspection yesterday, together with officers from the local police station and those from the Flying Squad.
