Luisin Malabrocca, Walter Bonatti, and Alberto Tomba, three Italian athletes who made entire generations dream, cheer, laugh, and cry. Their stories are told by   Luca Argentero with his show “Is this the life I dreamed of as a child?” , written by the actor together with Gianni Corsi and Edoardo Leo, who also directs it, and with music by Davide Cavuti. The tour will stop at   Teatro Doglio in Cagliari on October 20 and Teatro Verdi in Sassari on October 21, as part of the seventh edition of the literary festival Fino a Leggermi Matto , organized by the Le Ragazze Terribili cooperative.

Three great figures with extraordinary lives who profoundly impacted Italian society and history, with a story that goes beyond their exploits to portray their human and social side, with a special focus on the times in which they lived. Luisin Malabrocca , the "inventor" of the Maglia Nera, the cyclist who, in the first Giro d'Italia after the war, accidentally realized that finishing last, in a devastated Italy like that of 1946, endeared himself to the people: he received salami, cheese, and olive oil as gifts of solidarity.

Walter Bonatti , the mountaineer who, after overcoming incredible challenges with the rock, the climate, and the mountain, reached an altitude of over eight thousand meters, almost to the summit of one of the most difficult mountains to climb in the world, K2, discovers at his own expense that the greatest threat to humanity is humanity itself.

Alberto Tomba , the Olympic champion who capped off the Sanremo Music Festival with his victories. The unusual skier from Bologna, whose lightheartedness and aggressiveness on the slopes earned him worldwide recognition as "Tomba the Bomb." One of the greatest champions in the history of skiing, he rallied the entire nation around his races, embodying the perhaps illusory but certainly carefree Italian renaissance of the 1980s.
The show is produced by Stefano Francioni Produzioni and organized by Vincenzo Berti and Gianluca Bonanno for Ventidieci.
